If Drake White could pick anywhere in the world for “Livin’ the Dream,” like he sings about in his latest single, he says it would probably be his home state of Alabama. “Home is northeast Alabama, about 50 miles north of Birmingham, right where the Appalachian Mountains fall down,” says Drake. “So, it would probably be on a lake, or on the river out there.”
Drake is also fond of the beautiful outdoors and the mountains in Montana, but he says, I don’t think I could do it because I love the beach too. I love the ocean, I love fishin’ and hangin’ out. So, I’m gonna say Alabama ‘cause that’s where all my family is, bein’ up there, close to water somewhere.”
Drake is planning to release his new album, featuring “Livin’ the Dream,” this spring on Dot Records.
