Most people would probably agree that Valentine’s Day is probably a holiday that means more to women than to men, but the Eli Young Band’s Mike Eli says, “We do care about it, but we care about it for her.” In the case of the band they’re often working on Valentine’s Day so Mike says, “We have to plan our Valentine’s Day on a different day and luckily our wives are very understanding about that. And we get to have a special Valentine’s Day on a different day and they’ve always been great about it.”

Jon Jones has one piece of advice for women on Valentine’s Day. “I think the best Valentine’s gift you can give a guy is, take it easy if he doesn’t do it quite right on Valentine’s Day. If he doesn’t give you the gift you’re wanting, take it easy on him.”

Unfortunately, the guys will be working this Valentine’s Day. They’ll be in Albany, New York with Darius Rucker’s True Believers Tour, promoting their new single, “Dust,” and their new album, 10,000 Towns, which will be available on March 4th.
