The Eli Young Band is once again lending their support to the Outnumber Hunger campaign to help raise awareness of the problem of hunger in America. The band continues to get involved in the annual campaign with General Mills, Feeding America and the Big Machine Label Group because drummer Chris Thompson says, “I think it’s important to bring the spotlight to Outnumber Hunger and Feed(ing) America and to really spotlight the problem that not a lot a people know about. I think that for the past couple years we’ve been able to raise awareness to these issues but it’s just more important to keep pushin’ and make sure everybody knows, not only that we’re havin’ the issues we’re having in the country, but also how to fix it, how to solve it.”
