Eli Young Band will release their new album, 10,000 Towns, next month and they hope the project will keep the momentum going that they’ve had with three number one singles, including the lead single off the new album, “Drunk Last Night.” “It’s been a couple years since the last one came out,” says Jon Jones, and we want this to exceed our expectations, which are always really high. You know, we want this to be a record that’s well reviewed and well liked by our fans. And, to open new doors for us, which all the records in the past have.”
Mike Eli hopes their brand new single, “Dust,” can become their fourth #1 hit and he says, “We’d like to eventually get to a point where our set list is one like (Kenny) Chesney has, or somebody, where you just go from song to song, they’re all hits, or they’re songs that made a huge impact. We’re really like right now, we’ve got this beginning, middle and end with ‘Breaks Your Heart’, ‘Crazy Girl’ and ‘Drunk Last Night’. But hopefully, this year, we’ll add a few more songs to that set list that are songs that people from the radio and such.”
10,000 Towns, the Eli Young Band’s new album, will be available on March 4th.
