(AUDIO) ELI YOUNG BAND IS ADJUSTING TO BIGGER CAREER AND MORE COOKS IN THE KITCHEN

Eli Young Band has been making albums together for almost 15 years, and Jon Jones says, “Just looking at our time in the studio, I think we’ve grown as musicians by leaps and bounds and just the comfort factor there.  Especially going from debut album being the first time recording in a real studio with people critiquing everything and not just kind of the small group of people we’re used to.  So this time in the studio, there were a lot of other people, other players in the studio, people kind of popping in and out, stuff that would have really freaked us out just a couple years ago.  But, I think we’re a just a lot more comfortable in our own skin as musicians, but also just who we are as a band, and I think that comes through in our music.”

Eli Young Band’s latest single, “Saltwater Gospel,” is the first release off their forthcoming album, which they’ve already finished recording, and will release later this year.
