Eli Young Band just released their new song, “Break It In,” so they’re plenty busy touring and promoting their new song. Bass player Jon Jones says the band’s focus is on their music, so they don’t have any side businesses or “side hustles” in the band, like their own liquor brand or clothing line or acting career, and Jon says, “It’s funny, I hear about all these artists having all these side projects and I don’t know where they find the time. Do they sleep? I’m always impressed. I’m always really impressed with how much some people get done.”
If Eli Young Band was going to consider a side hustle, Jon jokes, “With as much as we’ve kept some beer companies and vodka companies in business, we probably should have made our own a long time ago. I don’t know if that ship has sailed or not.”
