Now that Mike and Jon of Eli Young Band have kids, they’re figuring out how to bring their kids on the road with them from time to time, like this summer while they’re touring with Jake Owen on the Days of Gold Tour. Mike Eli says, “They’re gettin’ a little older, so it’s gonna be a little bit easier to have ‘em out because their schedules might be a little bit easier, especially since our schedule on the road is completely opposite to the kiddos.”

Now that the band has their own bus separate from the rest of their band and crew, Mike says that makes things like nap time easier. But he says, “That’s kind of a new thing, juggling all that.”

The guys are promoting their latest top 30 single, “Dust,” and they’ll be playing dates with Jake as well as some of their own headlining dates and fairs and festivals throughout the summer. You can see a list of Eli Young Band’s tour dates here.

They’re gettin’ a little older, so it’s gonna be a little bit easier to have ‘em out because their schedules might be a little bit easier, especially since our schedule on the road is completely opposite to the kiddos and so luckily we have two different buses. We’ve got the four of us on one that we can use for the kiddos to be able to take their naps and stuff. But that’s kind of a new thing, juggling all that. So hopefully they’ll be able to come out during the summer for that tour. Yah, we’ve known Jake for a long time and really had a great time gettin’ to know him, so it’s gonna be really fun to be on an entire tour with him.”
