Growing their career and building their following is always a goal for The Eli Young Band, and they feel they went a long way toward fulfilling that goal this year by being out on tour with Kenny Chesney.  “One of the goals for this year was getting to be on a big tour and Kenny Chesney was very awesome to invite us out,” says James Young.  “I think our goal has always been to just get in front of the fans and do what we do and go out there and make music.  Being on this tour has allowed us to get in front of thousands upon thousands of people every night.  Go out there and do what we do best, and that’s play a live show.”  The tour also gave them a chance to share their latest single, “Drunk Last Night” with thousands of fans.
