Eli Young Band has always been a big supporter of their college fan base and have even done a “Greek Life” promotion to celebrate sororities and fraternities, and Mike Eli says that’s because, “That’s how me met. The four of us were all Sigma Nu at North Texas and so that was one of the biggest reasons we wanted to do the ‘Greek Life’ promotion that we did this year. Because Sigma Nu gave us this band, essentially the four of us met because of Sigma Nu. So, the ‘Greek Life’ promotion was a cool one for us to do.”

James Young says the college kids were also some of Eli Young Band’s first supporters. “They were a big part of getting us started and being those early supporters that would show up at the bar and cheer us on. So, it’s kinda where we kinda came from.”

Their college fan base is also great about spreading the word about the band’s live shows and new music like their latest single, “Dust,” on social media.
