(AUDIO) ELI YOUNG BAND SHARES THEIR FAVORITE BEACH TUNES

Labor Day signifies the unofficial end of summer, but if you’re just not ready for it to end, you can keep the summer vibes going with the Eli Young Band’s beach playlist that they put together for Spotify.  The playlist shows off the band’s diverse taste in music, because as James Young explains, “This band has been kind of a melting pot of influences and stuff we like. I think the highlights from our playlist would be probably a bunch of, you know, pop music mixed with country, Chesney would be on there, right next to the Carrs or something, you know, crazy like that. So yeah, we have a very diverse bag of songs that we would probably take to the beach.”

Jon Jones says there has to be some Beach Boys and Bob Marley on the band’s  beach playlist, and we have a feeling a song that made it onto a lot of beach playlists this summer is Eli Young Band’s latest single, “Saltwater Gospel.”

Eli Young Band – beach playlist  :40

James Young – “I think we have very diverse … this band has been kind of a melting pot of influences and stuff we like. Jon Jones – “It’s cliché, but the old Beach Boys, a little nostalgia in there. I got married in Jamaica and Bob Marley kinda has always been the kind of music that has hit home and has resonated since an early age so I think that’s the music you just can’t go wrong with. It’s like riding a jet ski- you cant be angry riding a jet ski and you can’t be too angry listening to the Beach Boys or Bob Marley.”
