Each member of the Eli Young Band adds something different to the dynamic of the band, and James Young says that drummer Chris Thompson is “kinda the big picture guy and … he gets so passionate and he gets so fired up about different things and always has these like crazy ideas that brings ‘em to the table and he’s awesome in his own right.”

As a musician, James says Chris, “plays drums like a wild man, but he can also pick up a guitar, he can pick up a bass, he can record your demo. When Chris locks onto something he jumps right into it.”

You can see Chris doing his thing on Eli Young Band’s songs like “Drink Last Night” and “Dust,” while they are on the Darisu Rucker True Believers Tour through June 15th.
