Eli Young Band doesn’t have a whole lot of time at home to cook this summer as they tour the country playing fairs and festivals and promoting their latest single, “Saltwater Gospel,” but when they do get to be at home with their families, bass player Jon Jones fancies himself a pretty good cook, depending on who he’s cooking for.  Jon, who has to cook to please his four year old son, Hudson, says, “Right now, I’m into cooking anything bland and a lot of really boring food.  It’s hard to get really exciting when they won’t eat anything but macaroni and cheese and chicken nuggets.  So, there’s a lot of variation on that right now.”

Jon and his wife Sarah are expecting their second child in November, the day before Thanksgiving.
