Eli Young Band’s new song, “Love Ain’t,” is a fun, up-tempo rocker, ad Mike Eli says, “I think with this song it’s a reminder of what your expectations should be on both sides. What you should expect of yourself and what you should expect from the ones that supposedly love you.”
Mike also loves that the song is written from the perspective of a guy who knows he’s not perfect, but at least he’s a good guy. “What I did love about the message in the song,” says Mike, “was I’m not saying that I’m a genius. I’m not saying that I know what I’m in for, but I know that I’m better than that guy, and he sucks.”
Eli Young Band chose to honor one of their favorite charities, and then men and women who serve our country, by dedicating the video for “Love Ain’t” to the Wounded Warrior Project.
