Eli Young Band’s latest single, “Love Ain’t” is all about realizing what love should look like and feel like and what it shouldn’t.  Lead singer Mike Eli and his wife Kacey have been married for eight years, but he admits it took them a while, before they were married, to figure out what true love is.  He says, “I’ve been married for a long time. My wife and I dated for a long time before that and we had hard times in the beginning before we ever were engaged, and had some breakups, and some got back together. And there came a moment where we both knew that we loved each other, and it was time to make it happen.”

Fortunately, through all the ups and downs and the breakups and makeups, they never gave up on the idea of loving one another.  Mike says, “There were some times in the middle where we had to remind each other, you know, I think I’m that person for you, or I want to be that person for you, eventually. So, it just took us a while to get there. Now we’ve been there for a long time.  So, all’s well that ends well.”

Now Mike and his wife have a happy little family full of love with their six-year-old daughter Kline Olivia and their month-and-a-half year old baby boy, Kash.
