With the New Year approaching, a lot of people are coming up with their New Year’s resolutions, but Eli Young Band’s Mike Eli is not one of those people. “I guess I just don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions,” he says, “because I know that that’s not something that I would be good at keeping. I think I’ve made some in the past but I’m just not that kind of person.”
Instead, if Mike decides to improve something or change something in his life, he says, “I guess I just eventually find a good time to do it but never been big on New Year’s resolutions. Sure, I always want to lose weight after I gain weight but I don’t know if I necessarily make that decision in January.”
At least Mike Eli is realistic about setting goals for himself at the first of the year and being able to follow through with them.
