Eli Young Band is usually booked to play a show on the 4th of July, which means they usually get to see fireworks on the holiday, but Mike Eli says his favorite type of 4th of July, “is when we get to be with our families watching fireworks because when you have young kids that nostalgic moment of them sitting there with you watching the fireworks, it’s hard to beat that.”
Unfortunately, this is one of those years when Mike and the Eli Young Band will be working on the 4th of July, in San Antonio, promoting their new single, “Love Ain’t,” which means he won’t get to be at home with his wife and five-year-old daughter, Kline, to enjoy the fireworks with them.
Eli Young Band – 4th of July :19
Mike Eli – “We love fireworks. Being in a band and being a musician July 4th is always one of those ones that you’re always booked somewhere and you’re always enjoying it. So what I do love about July 4th is when we get to be with our families watching fireworks because when you have young kids that nostalgic moment of them sitting there with you watching the fireworks, it’s hard to beat that.”
