It’s officially summertime, which means Eli Young Band lead singer, Mike Eli, and his family will be spending as much time as possible near any body of water.  Mike says, “We live in Texas so we’re used to the heat. There’s a lot of heat there. So, we love the water. We are outdoors people, so ideally for me a perfect summer day would be somewhere on the lake, somewhere on the beach, fishing in a river somewhere. I mean that would be what we would ideally be doing on a summer day.”

Eli Young Band just released their new single, “Love Ain’t,” which means the guys will be spending a lot of the summer on the road promoting their new music and playing a lot of festival dates, which might mean less time by the water, but Mike says, “Festivals are a lot of fun though. I’m pretty lucky I get to play music for a living.  So being able to go to a festival and be one of the acts playing the festival is a pretty good day.”
