A lot of people were surprised when Florida Georgia Line released “Confession” as their latest single. The song is the fifth release off their current Anything Goes album and a lot of people were expecting them to release a song off of a new album, but Brian Kelley explains, “It’s one of those songs man, that’s just deep. I think it’s spiritual. I think it bookends ‘Dirt’ and this ‘Anything Goes’ album. It closes the final chapter. I think it’s crazy that we get to go five singles deep, and I think more importantly, that we need this single and our fans in Country radio needs to hear this song.”
Brian believes “Confession” is a great lead-in to what’s to come from Florida Georgia Line on their next album, which they plan to release this spring. He says, “It’s got a great message and I think it’s right where we’re at right now and that’s most important to get that music out.”
