Florida Georgia Line’s new single, “H.O.L.Y.” is a different turn for the guys, showing off a vulnerable more stripped down side of the duo, and Tyler Hubbard says, “It’s this new transition into our life for our fans. You know, and album two is huge for that. There was a lot of changes that happened over the last couple of years, in both of our lives and it’s cool that you can almost see that throughout the album, from top to bottom, and kind a feel the change.”
While their third album shows some of the life changes that have impacted Florida Georgia Line, such as both guys getting married and settling down a little, the one thing that won’t change is how open they are with their fans. Tyler says, “I think that’s why our fans connect to us, ‘cause we’re just real, we’re transparent. They know the good, the bad and the ugly about us both, and it’s gonna continue to show through album three and I think as we’ve grown up, as we’ve matured a little bit, as we see life from a little bit different perspective, so does our music. It’s pretty cool. It’s somethin’ we’re super excited about.”
FGL’s new album, Dig Your Roots, will feature “H.O.L.Y.” and will be released this summer.
