(AUDIO) FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE CREDITS THEIR WIVES FOR THEIR IMPROVED STYLE

Just as Florida Georgia Line’s music has evolved over the last couple of years, so has their personal style.  Tyler Hubbard jokes, “It’s ‘cause we got married. We don’t look like homeless scoundrels that wear thrift clothes anymore, right?”

Brian Kelley has a more pragmatic explanation for their evolving style.  He says, “It’s boys becoming men and crazy enough for us that it’s in front of a lot of people.”  And just as their styles are authentic to who they are now, Brian says their music is the same way.  “Every step of the way whether it’s ‘Cruisin’’ or ‘This Is How We Roll’, ‘Dirt’, ‘Sundays’, ‘Holy’. What we got comin’ down the pipeline, we’re gonna be honest and transparent with where we’re at. There’s no way around it for us. We gotta put out real music and music that we feel that we’ve lived.”

Florida Georgia Line’s new album, Dig Your Roots, featuring “H.O.L.Y.” is available for pre-order now and will be released on August 26th.

Florida Georgia Line – evolution of style  :33

Tyler Hubbard – “It’s ‘cause we got married. We don’t look like homeless scoundrels that wear thrift clothes anymore, right?”

Brian Kelley – “I think it’s just like Tyler said, it’s boys becoming men and crazy enough for us that it’s in front of a lot of people and we’re gettin’ to put our lives in the music, and that’s what Country music is. Every step of the way whether it’s ‘Cruisin’’ or ‘This Is How We Roll’, ‘Dirt’, ‘Sundays’, ‘Holy’. What we got comin’ down the pipeline, we’re gonna be honest and transparent with where we’re at. There’s no way around it for us. We gotta put out real music and music that we feel that we’ve lived.”
