(AUDIO) Florida Georgia Line Finds Ways To Handle Speed Of Their Career

After the monster success of their first single, “Cruise,” Florida Georgia Line’s career took off like a rocket ship and hasn’t really slowed down since.  The guys say they’ve learned to adjust to the new hectic pace of their lives by making time for little personal breaks.  “We do little things on our own that kind of give us getaway time, whether it’s work out or ride a motorcycle, or go play basketball, or whatever it is just to kinda keep our sanity and just kinda get away from life for second,” says Tyler.  “But I think we’re runnin’ on adrenaline to the point of, you know, let’s just roll with it and see what happens.  And it is, it’s a big adjustment.”   He admits that their hectic schedule has certainly impacted the amount of time they have to spend with family and friends, but they’re figuring out how to make it work because he says, “It’s something that we’ve worked hard for and we wanna be where we’re at. We love it and it does take a passion for music and a love for what you’re doin’ to be able to do it, but I think we’re learnin’ how to balance it pretty well.”

Tyler Hubbard – “It happens naturally, I mean, you don’t have a choice but to adjust to it. We do little things on our own that kind of give us getaway time, whether it’s work out or ride a motorcycle, or go play basketball, or whatever it is just to kinda keep our sanity, you know, and just kinda get away from life for second. But I think we’re runnin’ on adrenaline to the point of, you know, let’s just roll with it and see what happens. And it is, it’s a big adjustment. A lot of changes in our lifestyle, and being able to hang out with friends. Just things like that, you know, that you kind of take for granted. It’s just a different lifestyle, but it’s something that we’ve worked hard for and we wanna be where we’re at. We love it and it does take a passion for music and a love for what you’re doin’ to be able to do it, but I think we’re learnin’ how to balance it pretty well.”
