When Florida Georgia Line is working, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard give 110%, but they say some of the best advice they ever got about living in and out of the spotlight came from Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean. Tyler says, “Those guys got it figured out, how to have time for themselves to recharge, and how to give it all they got when they’re giving, but then stop when they’re not.”

Practice makes perfect, but Tyler says, “That’s somethin’ we’ve learned, how to turn off the switch for a little while and be home and just recharge and be ourselves and relax. That’s important for us, especially to be able to go as hard as we go and then to, you gotta have the recharge time.”

Lately the guys in FGL haven’t had a lot of time to “turn off the switch” because they’ve been on the road headlining their Anything Goes Tour, they just go back from Europe for the C2C: Country to Country Festival and they’re busy promoting their brand new single, “Sippin’ on Fire.”

“I’d say with Luke and Jason, I mean, for the most part those guys have become good buddies of ours and we’ve learned a ton from them and I think, I don’t know if they’ve given us advice directly on that, but we have discussed it. Florida Georgia Line really enjoyed the sights, sounds and country music fans of Europe all last week and is returning home now. The guy’s next show is at Rodeo Houston in Texas on Wednesday (3/18). The duo was also announced as performers for April’s ACM Awards in Dallas.
