Florida Georgia Line have participated in events in the past like the WWE’s Tribute to the Troops, or last year’s World’s Biggest USO Tour. Supporting our military is important to FGL, and especially Brian Kelley because his grandfather was a P.O.W. and a two-time Purple Heart Recipient, and without men and women like his grandfather, Brian says, “We don’t have anything. We’re very, very grateful for those that are serving now, that have served and that are going to serve, because we live in the best country and we get to play country music.”
BK and Tyler often have a chance to meet veterans or active duty military personnel at their shows, and BK says, “The crazy thing is, people come in meet and greets that serve and they say, ‘Thank you for dong what you do.’ And it’s, ‘Thank YOU GUYS.’ I mean, anything we can do for our troops, we jumped at the opportunity.”
