These days Florida Georgia Line’s career is so white hot that it’s hard for them to go anywhere without getting recognized.  With their fourth single, “Stay,” quickly climbing the charts, their popularity seems to be rising just as fast.  Brian recalls one funny occasion when he got recognized in an unlikely place.  “I was driving to… I think we just got our trucks.  I was on the interstate headed out to Hendersonville and I had all my windows down.  I was flying, just jamming to some music.  I was in the left-hand lane.  I drove past this car and kinda looked over.  Next thing I know, they’re flying up next to me and it’s these two girls.  They’re on their phone and looking up at me like—they’d called their friend.  I guess they realized it was me somehow.  I dunno.  But it was pretty obvious.  It was pretty funny.”  Chances are they’ll soon become even more recognizable, having just picked up four American Music Awards nominations, including New Artist of the Year and Single of the Year for “Cruise.”
