When Florida Georgia Line was working on their latest 6-Pack EP, they got out of Nashville and went to a recording studio in the Bahamas to record a lot of the songs. They loved the experience so much that Tyler Hubbard says, “I think that’s hopefully something that we’ll get to do every time and that won’t be the last. Or, I don’t know if every time, but we already have a few other places that we’re like, ‘Yep, let’s make our next album there, and we’ll make the next album there.’”
It wasn’t all work and no play for FGL while they were in the Bahamas, as evidenced by some of the social media posts they shared while they were down there, which may be why it was so enjoyable. Once they had the bulk of the music done, Tyler says, “To be able to come back home to Nashville and kind of make some final tweaks and comb through all the stuff we did has been a lot of fun.”
One of the songs Florida Georgia Line worked on down in the Bahamas is their current single, “I Love My Country,” which is their latest top ten hit and still climbing the charts.
