Florida Georgia Line’s producer, Joey Moi, is also the producer on all of the rock group Nickelback’s albums, and Brian Kelley says, “I know a lot a people like to hate or love to hate Nickelback, but they put out some amazing songs, sold a ton a records.”

While there may be some subtle similarities between FGL and Nickelback’s music because they do share the same producer Tyler Hubbard says, “Obviously, there’s gonna be a few similarities because that’s the same person makin’ both albums, so it’s just natural. But, I think Joey does a great, great job of kinda keepin’ it separate also, and kinda knowin’ how to add a good taste of somethin’ different in Country Music, but not too much. Just enough to tickle the ear buds, just a little bit.

Overall Florida Georgia line says they love the unique sound that Joey Moi helps them bring to country music. Tyler says, “I think it’s a good departure from Nickelback, and I think Joey’s crushin’ it in the Country world and he’s proved himself in the Rock world, years and years and years and now he’s doin’ the same in Country. So, a lot a respect and love for that guy for sure.”

FGL just celebrated their sixth number one song with “Sun Daze” reaching the top of the charts last week.

Florida Georgia Line is on the road on their “Anything Goes Tour” with dates this week on Monday (2/23) in Manchester, New Hampshire at Verizon Wireless Arena and on Wednesday (2/25) in New York at Madison Square Garden. Then on Saturday (2/28), the guys are playing a show in Sweden, and then continuing in Europe with shows in Norway, the U.K. and Ireland.
