(AUDIO) Florida Georgia Line Looking Forward To Celebrating At The American Music Awards

Florida Georgia Line, whose current single, “Stay,” is steadily climbing the charts, will perform their very first #1 hit on next Sunday’s American Music Awards and they’re also nominated for four awards, including the all genre New Artist award, and Brian Kelly says, “We’re really excited about the AMA’s.  It’s an awards show that we’ve been watching for years.”  They’ve also made a lot of new friends in all genres of music thanks to the huge crossover success of “Cruise” thanks to the remix with Nelly.  Plus, they got to be good drinking buddies with Ed Sheeran during their time on the Taylor Swift Tour, and Brian says, “I know we’re excited to hang out with Ed Sheeran.  We had a good time with him on the Taylor Swift tour, and to meet back up with him and some of our other friends, it’s a fun night.  Win or lose we’re definitely gonna celebrate and it’s definitely gonna be a very surreal experience to be back and to be nominated.”

The American Music Awards will air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, November 24th, on ABC.

Brian – “We’re really excited about the AMA’s.  It’s an awards show that we’ve been watching for years and it’s obviously a multi-genre awards show, and to have the year that we’ve had and to be able to cross over with ‘Cruise’ and Nelly, the remix, it’s just a blessing.  We’ve made some more friends over the past year and I know we’re excited to hang out with Ed Sheeran.  He’s one of our good drinking buddies.  We had a good time with him on the Taylor Swift tour, and to meet back up with him and some of our other friends, it’s a fun night.  Win or lose we’re definitely gonna celebrate and it’s definitely gonna be a very surreal experience to be back and to be nominated.”
