(AUDIO) FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE LOOKS FORWARD TO COUNTRY MUSIC’S FAMILY REUNION

Florida Georgia Line heads into next week’s CMA Awards with three nominations for Vocal Duo, Musical Event and Single of the Year for “Meant to Be.”  Although they’ve won four CMA Awards in the past, Tyler Hubbard says, “We’re always honored and humbled to be a part of these awards shows and to be nominated, especially CMAs. We have so many memories that we’ve made there over the years, and we were there before we were FGL, you know, watching that and being a fan. So that just really never gets old to be honest.”

Besides appreciating the tip of the hat from the industry any time they are nominated for CMA Awards, Tyler says, “It’s also always kind of like a little country music family reunion so we’ll get to see all of our friends and catch up a little bit.”

Florida Georgia Line just released their brand new single, “Talk You Out of It,” but they’ll be performing their smash hit, “Meant to Be” with Bebe Rexha, on the CMA Awards, Wednesday, November 14th on ABC.

Tyler Hubbard – “We’re always honored and humbled to be a part of these awards shows and to be nominated, especially CMAs. We have so many memories that we’ve made there over the years, and we were there before we were FGL, you know, watching that and being a fan. So that just really never gets old to be honest.  And to be nominated, kind of a continued validation if you will, just a nod of the hat from the industry and from our peers and from our fans.  So it’s going to be a great night. We’re excited. And it’s also always kind of like a little country music family reunion so we’ll get to see all of our friends and catch up a little bit.”
