(AUDIO) Florida Georgia Line Loves Progress But Is Inspired By Older Recordings

Florida Georgia Line is known for some of their progressive sounds in country music, but it’s entirely possible we could hear some throwback sounds as well on their next album. Brian Kelley says, “I think everything kind of circles around. I feel like I’m inspired every time I listen to an old record, even with the crackling. Really hearing the bands play, getting’ away from tracks a little bit. It’s a lot what we hear on the radio today, which is awesome. But hearin’ studio guys and live bands play, and just kinda the rough around the edges, it’s pretty cool.”

Florida Georgia Line is expected to release their new album sometime in the spring, as the follow-up to their Anything Goes album, featuring their latest single, “Confession.”
