Florida Georgia Line’s latest single, “Anything Goes,” is also the title track of their latest album, and it turns out it’s the song that set the tone for the whole project. Brian Kelley says, “That was a song, ‘Anything Goes’, that we put on hold right as soon as ‘Here’s To the Good Times’, we released that, and that did set the tone, thematically and sonically. It’s a song that pushes boundaries lyrically, and we just knew it was somethin’ special, somethin’ different.”
Once “Anything Goes” was recorded, that opened the possibilities for the rest of Florida Georgia Line’s album. Brian says, “I think for us gettin’ back in the writing room and continue to push boundaries, we said once again, there’s no rules when we’re writing, and that’s somethin’ that we kind a stuck by.”
Florida Georgia Line is currently working on the follow-up to their Anything Goes album, although they say they aren’t ready to announce a timeline for its release.
