(AUDIO) Florida Georgia Line Tries To Give Their Families A Realistic View Of Their Lives

Florida Georgia Line’s life has changed drastically in the last couple of years, and from the outside looking in it might look like all fun and glamour, but when their families want to know what it’s really like, Tyler Hubbard says, “We just tell ‘em what it’s like. I mean, it’s a fun life, it’s a hectic life and kinda crazy and we get to do what we love every single night, so it’s a very blessed life that we live. We worked hard to get here so we’re enjoying the fruits of our labor. We’re just tryin’ to make the best of it, make smart decisions. Hopefully keep this thing goin’ for a while.”

Brian Kelley says the one thing that’s probably most surprising for people is how fast everything has happened. But he says, “Our families, our friends, our fans, our team has been so supportive from day one. But anytime this kinda thing happens … we kinda have to be … every day we wake up it’s like, ‘Is this really our life?’

Florida Georgia Line just celebrated their fifth consecutive #1 song with “This Is How We Roll,” and their new single, “Dirt,” is already making its way up the charts. “Dirt” will be featured on their new album being released this fall.

Tyler Hubbard – “I mean, we just tell ‘em what it’s like. Brian Kelley – “I think everybody’s surprised with how fast everything’s happened. Our families, our friends, our fans, our team has been so supportive from day one. But anytime this kinda thing happens everybody just, we kinda have to be, every day we wake up it’s like, ‘Is this really our life?’ Things don’t happen this quick and this fast and it’s just a really good time in country music. People are takin’ chances. A lotta new, great new artists, lotta older artists that are still creating great country music. We just feel like the luckiest dudes to be a part of it, to feel welcomed, to feel the support from country radio, the fans. It feels like everybody’s cheerin’ for us. Like Tyler said, we just wanna work hard and continue to push ourselves creatively and keep surprisin’ people down the road with every little twist and turn.”
