Florida Georgia Line will have many blessings to count this Thanksgiving, including six consecutive #1 singles, with their seventh single, “Sun Daze,” currently charging toward the top of the charts. But giving thanks and giving back for all the blessings they’ve been given is something Brian and Tyler try to be mindful of all year long.

“Giving back is something that’s very important to us,” says Brian. “We were raised watching both of our fathers work very hard and give back at the same time. That’s something that’s close to us and close to our hearts and our voices through success and everything has gotten a little bit bigger over the past couple years and there’s no better time than now, and we feel like we’d be doing the wrong thing if we weren’t giving back.”

Not only is giving back and being thankful for all that they’ve been given about being good people, but Brian says, “Our faith and what we want to represent is giving back and being good to people that need it and that need some help cause we’ve had a lot of help along our way and along our journey so (we’re) just kind of following everybody’s examples, you know, (and) trying to be good people.”

Florida Georgia Line won at last night’s 2014 American Music Awards for Favorite Band, Duo or Group in Los Angeles. The guys are off from touring for a while and will be spending a great Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends on Thursday (11/27).
