When Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard moved to Nashville, their big dream was to become songwriters and one day hear their songs on the radio. They’ve definitely done that and more, having written multiple hit songs, not only for themselves, but for other artists as well. Brian says their reality has surpassed their dreams. “You dream, and you dream, and you dream, and Tyler and I, we really moved to Nashville to be songwriters and hopefully one day hear our songs on the radio and just be creative.”
Whether it’s songs for themselves, like their current single, “Sippin’ on Fire,” or songs for other people, they will always be songwriters. Brian says, “We love writing songs. We live and breathe songs in country music and songs in general. Man, it’s exciting right now. It’s crazy. We love it.”
You can catch Florida Georgia Line out on their Anything Goes Tour, which will run through October.
