(AUDIO) FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE’S ‘SIMPLE’ IS A REMINDER TO NOT COMPLICATE THINGS

Florida Georgia Line just released their brand new song, “Simple,” and in the simplest of terms, Tyler Hubbard says the song “[is] just a little reminder to simplify things every now and then and have a good time while you do it.”

Tyler and BK helped co-write the song when they were out on their last tour.  Tyler says, “[‘Simple’] was just a special song that was born out of an idea that I kind of had just living in a world where things get so complicated and everybody seems to want to complicate things.  And majority of the time I just find that for us, it’s just easy to keep it simple and there’s no need to complicate it, especially when it comes to love and BK and I’s relationship with our wives, and our families.”

In addition to “Simple,” FGL also released another song last Friday called “Colorado.”  Both songs will be on their forthcoming fourth album.

Tyler Hubbard – “So the song ‘Simple’ was born on the road, on the Tree Vibez bus. BK and I, we like to bring our writers out and our Tree Vibez bus out every weekend when we’re on tour. Honestly, we usually find ourselves writing on that every day, pre-show and post-show to be honest.  We love the Tree Vibez bus, we love our guys. And that was just a special song that was born out of an idea that I kind of had just living in a world where things get so complicated and everybody seems to want to complicate things.  And majority of the time I just find that for us, it’s just easy to keep it simple and there’s no need to complicate it, especially when it comes to love and BK and I’s relationship with our wives, and our families.  So just a little reminder to simplify things every now and then and have a good time while you do it.”
