Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and his wife Hayley are expecting their second child any day now, and they’ve been doing their best to prepare their 20-month-old daughter Olivia (Liv) for his arrival. “We just try to talk about him a lot,” says Tyler, “and kind of point out the fact that your baby brother’s in mom’s tummy right now and he’s gonna be out soon, and just kind of talk to her in childlike phrases.”
Because Liv has been the center of mom and dad’s attention up until now and she’ll have to get used to there being another baby in the house, getting her as prepared as you can prepare a toddler, Tyler says, “We feel like it’s pretty important and hopefully she can kind of know what to expect a little bit. I think she knows what’s going on, so we’ll see how the transition goes.”
Florida Georgia Line is currently in the middle of their Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour, promoting their top ten hit, “Talk You Out of It,” and Hayley’s official due date is August 19th. So she and Olivia have been traveling with Tyler, and she has her birth coach on the road with her as well, in case baby Luca Reed Hubbard decides to make his debut while they’re away from home.
