(AUDIO) FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE’S TYLER HUBBARD TALKS WRITING WITH BEBE REXHA

Some people may not realize that Florida Georgia Line’s latest smash hit, “Meant To Be,” which they sing with Bebe Rexha, was actually co-written by Tyler Hubbard of FGL and Bebe Rexha, along with a few other writers.  A lot of people wonder how Tyler even ended up in a writing session with Bebe, and he explains, “We were just out in LA on a little trip and we try to do that every now and then.  And last minute we had a night write get canceled and the stars just aligned and we ended up getting in a room together, us and a couple buddies, and wrote a great song.”

When they wrote the song, Tyler says they didn’t know immediately what was going to come of it, then he says, “The next thing you know (Bebe) put it out and it started blowing up, and now we put it out. Everybody’s putting it out. It’s awesome.”

“Meant to Be” has become the third longest running #1 song on the Hot Country Songs chart, and Florida Georgia Line’s song “Cruise” is the second longest running song.
