(AUDIO) FOR BRIAN AND TYLER OF FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE IS A THANKSGIVING MUST

Thanksgiving is this Thursday, and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line says, “I always go to Alabama. Besides my mom and sister, that’s where the rest of my family is, so we always go to Alabama, and always have growing up.  And we have big dinner, lunch or dinner, usually both, both sides of the family.”

The one dish Tyler looks forward to every year at Thanksgiving is sweet potato casserole.  He says, “If there’s not any sweet potato casserole, it’s not Thanksgiving.  My grandma makes the best and, I mean I can do without the turkey even, it doesn’t really bother me. But I need to have some of those good rolls with a lot of butter on it and some sweet potato casserole, for sure.”

Brian Kelley agrees whole-heartedly with his partner. “I would second that,” he says.  “My mom makes really good sweet potato casserole. So yeah, absolutely.”

Florida Georgia Line’s latest song, “Blessings,” is all about counting your blessings in life, which makes it the perfect song for Thanksgiving and throughout the holidays.
