Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts and his wife Tiffany have three kids, and while the children are still young he says he and Tiffany use New Year’s Eve as a chance to get away and just enjoy some time alone. “For years, Tiffany and I have been able to go on a little vaca’ together and share New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day together somewhere special. We’ve done it for a lotta years now and we’ll probably continue that tradition this year, until the kids get quite a bit older and can stay up that late.”
Because Rascal Flatts’ schedule keeps Joe Don on the road a lot during the year he says, “It’s important, I think, for a couple to find the time to spend together when they can, especially in this crazy business when you travel so much, or gone so much. And so we’ll probably do the same thing and go somewhere special for New Year’s, it’s just somethin’ we love to do. It’s somethin’ I definitely love to do with my wife, and love all over her into the New Year.”
Rascal Flatts is closing out the year with their brand new single, “Riot,” beginning its climb up the charts.

Rascal Flatts – Joe Don New Year’s Eve :39
“For years, Tiffany and I have been able to go on a little vaca’ together and share New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day together somewhere special. We’ve done it for a lotta years now and we’ll probably continue that tradition this year, until the kids get quite a bit older and can stay up that late. We like to give that time to our self. It’s important, I think, for a couple to find the time to spend together when they can, especially in this crazy business when you travel so much, or gone so much.
