(AUDIO) GOLF IS THE ONE SPORT THAT DOESN’T COME NATURALLY FOR JUSTIN MOORE

When Justin Moore was younger, he was always quick to learn how to play different sports and play them fairly well.  “In no way is this meant to be boastful,” says Justin, “but any other sport that I’ve ever done, it kind of came naturally to me, and it was kind of easy for me.”

But Justin has met his match when it comes to golf.  He says, “Golf is quite the opposite … My golf game is up and down, hit or miss. I can shoot a 78 or 102. You just never know with me. But I love the game of golf, and I think one of the reasons I like it is because it is so challenging.”

The somewhat good news is that the “Why We Drink” singer knows where his weakness is in golf.  Justin says, “I always putt really well and I usually hit my irons pretty well, so, my game is typically determined by my tee shots – if I’m hitting the ball in the fairway or not.  And if I am, I usually play pretty well and if not, it can go south pretty quickly.”

Perhaps while the world is on pause because of the coronavirus, Justin will have time to work on his tee shot, while maintaining a safe social distance.
