(AUDIO) Hank Jr. Recut ‘Born To Boogie’ For New Album

A few clues are coming out about the next Hank Williams Jr. release. In a recent interview he commented, “I cut ‘Born To Boogie’ for the new album with some special guests on it too.” He didn’t give up who, but with work in the studio already finished, the wait shouldn’t be long. With a proven league of fans, it was originally released as the title track from a 1987 album that won CMA Album of the Year.

Hank is pretty happy just being Hank these days and says…“When you win Entertainer of the Year at five different award shows and then win multiple Emmy Awards for a football theme song. When you think about it, I have had a great life and couldn’t ask for much more.”

He’s still having a great time with his fans too. And every show he performs is unique to that audience. The Grammy winner says he doesn’t go on stage with a set list or plan…

Hank Jr. – we don’t rehearse much :17
“I go by the feel. Ya know not like oh, this is gonna be #2 and this is gonna be #5. I’ve never, never done it that way. We’re not one of these groups that rehearses 3 days a week. And that hasn’t happened in a long time. And everything’s fine, Thank You.” (Laughter out)
