With a new album finished and ready for release, there’s no doubt that Hank Jr. fans are ready for it too. With a following that’s been growing steadily since the 60’s, his fan base is beyond huge! A good example was earlier this year, when more than a city block was jammed with over 70,000 people to see the Icon.
An avid hunter, he was in his element too, playing for a crowd gathered for the NRA (The National Rifle Association.)
He’s the first to tell you that he doesn’t rehearse for shows, but with a crowd this large, even Bocephus admitted he did a little practicing for it…

Hank Jr – 70,000 people in Nashville, Tennessee :17
“You know, we had 70,000 people in Nashville, Tennessee. At the big NRA show thing, the biggest one they ever had there. And they said wow, you’re gonna show up for rehearsal? So I did yeah…I’ve been to 2 this year. That’s a world record. (Laughter out)”
