(AUDIO) Hank Jr. Says His Fans Have Spoiled Him

As Hank Jr. prepares for the release of his next album, he says that as a kid he sang mostly songs of his famous daddy’s, but soon after had to create his own sound. As he puts it…“Some called me rockin’ country and others called me outlaw country.”

Along the way to becoming a music Icon, he admits his fans have spoiled him. That’s because his concerts are so big they turn into events. He usually plays around 20 or 25 a year.
With a new album coming, look to hear some new songs on stage too. Hank was asked what the audience could expect to hear from Bocephus…

Hank Jr. – (about himself) Ain’t no tellin’ what he’ll play :16
“They’ll probably be getting’ more of the same. And when I say more of the same, they know that there ain’t no tellin’ what HE’s gonna play up there. Ya know, HE might play the banjo. HE might play the fiddle. HE might play a song he just wrote the other day. So, that’s the good thing. Gonna be more of the same, but you don’t know what more of the same is.”

Hank Jr. Notes
Hank Jr’s next concert event…October 2, in Gretna, Louisiana.
One of Hanks latest purchases is a big, red tractor with a cab. He got it for his Alabama farm. A favorite pastime…Hank loves to plow and bush hog.
