(AUDIO) HANK WILLIAMS, JR. STAYS FRESH BY PLAYING A HANDFUL OF SHOWS

Hank Williams, Jr. just turned 67 in May, and he’s been touring and performing for almost 50 years, but to see him on stage in concert, you’d never know because he is so full of energy and passion. Hank only plays a small number of shows each year these days and he says the reason he doesn’t embark on longer tours is because, “I don’t have to and I’m not going. And they say ‘How are you so energetic and fresh?’ That’s why. You look forward to ‘em, that’s why. Instead of, ‘oh God, I have to do 150 shows’ which I see a lot of, I feel sorry for ‘em, I do.”

Hank has a little over 15 dates scheduled between now and the end of September. You can get his complete tour schedule at HankJr.com. And you can check out his latest single, “The Party’s On,” on his newest album, It’s About Time.
