Hank Jr.’s next scheduled concert is June 17 in Normal, Illinois, but there’s nothing normal about a Bocephus show! Hank gets that some people don’t know what to expect when they see him on stage and said, “I’m really into the musician side and this guy doesn’t just stand there and hold the mic!”
Ticket sales for Hank Jr. shows are as hot as ever, and this summer is no different. In August he and Chris Stapleton team up for a headling tour. And even after performing for nearly 60 years in front of an audience, he still gets a kick out of his fans’ reaction to seeing him perform for the first time…

Hank Jr. – fans didn’t know :20
“Well, from what I gather is – gosh I heard this and I hear that, but by gosh I didn’t know you played everything up there. I didn’t know you played piano like that. I didn’t know you played fiddle like that. I didn’t know you played rock guitar like that. I didn’t know. I didn’t know. I didn’t know you played Delta Blues. On and on and on…and that’s the takeaway.”
