Greylan James caught the performance bug pretty early, and he vividly remembers the performance where the crowd was so into it and cheering him on that he knew performing for people was something he wanted to do for the rest of his life.

“I played a college when I was 14. They stuck me into like a frat party kinda thing, and it was the first time I played like ‘Sweet Home Alabama.’ I’d just learned how to play it on guitar, and I was like, oh my gosh, this is what it’s supposed to look like. This is what it feels like. It changed my life, and I was like, ‘Okay, this is what I want to do, absolutely.’”
