Riley Green will be heading to Canada at the end of this month to kick off his Damn Country Music Tour, which means his dog, Carl the Cowboy Corgi, will soon be getting his bus bunk mate back, much to Riley’s amusement.

“My buddy that went to school with me that I hired to come on the road with me as my assistant, who doesn’t really do anything, sleeps on the bottom bunk on the bus. And I tell Carl to go get in his bunk and he does. And he can’t keep him from getting in there because there’s a curtain and there’s not a door. He’ll push him out and I’ll be like, ‘Carl, go,’ and he just goes back in there. So, he just has to sleep with my dog every night and I sleep in a nice bedroom in the back. I think that’s why I hired him, to sleep with my dog.”
