DEBUT SINGLE – “Don’t Come Lookin’”
Jackson Dean has a bona fide hit on his hands with his debut single, “Don’t Come Lookin’,” which has flown up the charts and is already sitting inside the top 15. The excitement and the energy it’s been creating at his live shows has been pretty cool to experience. “It’s been really awesome to see the excitement from everybody,” says Jackson. “I was in Spokane, and I was just by myself, and we were doing a radio show up there. And it was probably like 100 people in this bar, and there was like 50 of ‘em like smashed to the front. And they sang every word to every song that was on the record, and I’m pretty sure they sang one other one that wasn’t on the record.”
Hearing your songs sung back to you is something every artist dreams of, and Jackson says that night in that bar, “It was like the first time I’ve been able to hear the crowd outside of my monitor, just like right there, coming to my face. And I was like, whoa. That was awesome.”
Jackson is staying busy this summer, with multiple shows every week, including opening for Lee Brice, playing his own shows and playing several big summer festivals. You can see a complete list of his tour dates at jacksondeanmusic.com.
