“It was quite wonderful, really. Really just got to get out there and work a boat for a day. You got three people on the line when you’re reeling ‘em in. So, I was second man in line and we got about a five and a half foot, six foot sand shark. It was really cool, took samples out of it. It’s figuring out what they’re doing. It’s tracking them and it’s all research driven. And I didn’t realize how many sharks are killed a day around the world, and it just didn’t make any sense to me. Unless it’s trying to kill you, why do you need to kill a shark?”
