Jackson Dean is currently out on the road with Lainey Wilson, opening for her Country’s Cool Again Tour. While he stays pretty busy when he’s not on stage, we wondered how Jackson liked to pass the downtime on the road, whether it was getting out and golfing, like a lot of guys on the road, or working out or exploring.

“Well, we got 11 people on a bus. I am not a golfer. I did get out and play a round with my dad the other day. He came and picked us up off the bus. If occasion like that arises, sure. Previously, on tours when we have the time, if there’s a waterfall to see or a hike to do, we’ve done some serious hikes up in the Catskills. Love it up there, especially out west. But yeah, we love going national parks and stuff. It’s a really great way to get your mind away from things and come back.”
