(AUDIO) JACKSON DEAN LOVES USING HIS CARVING SKILLS TO CRAFT THINGS

DEBUT SINGLE : “Don’t Come Lookin’”

Jackson Dean spent a lot of time alone in the woods as a kid, and he believes all he would need to survive is a knife, because you can make just about anything with a knife.  That may explain why one of his hobbies is woodworking.  Jackson tinkers with making things out of wood all the time because he says, “I grew up makin’ stuff and workin’ with my hands, and I don’t wanna lose that.”

While he probably could make furniture if he had the time and the inclination, Jackson tends to make smaller things.  He says, “I’ve made a couple of pallet couches, but mostly I make knives actually, out of deer antler handles and cold rolled steel, and make ‘em usually around Christmas.”

So if you ever get a knife as a gift from Jackson, there’s a good possibility he made it with his own two hands.
